Turkish political system and disasters, central government and local government relations, duties and responsibilities of disaster related institutions, disaster laws, international disasters, politics and disasters, development of Turkish disaster management system.
AKY 505 Emergency Health Services Administration
Evaluating the Health Services, Emergency Health Services, Ambulance and emergency medical vehicles. Distinguishing ambulance equipment in Turkey. Evaluating the structure and functioning of emergency services in Turkey. Using forms in emergency health services in Turkey. Evaluating the authority and responsibilities of the paramedic. Making a task organization. Providing own safety. Providing patient / wounded security. Providing communication in ambulance and emergency medical services.

AKY 515 Hydrometeorological Disasters and Preparation
Hazardous weather events and hydrometeorological disasters, monitoring of hydrometeorological disasters and gathering of information, estimation of the effect of disasters, specific issues to be considered in the plan, flood control, floods and flood studies, meteorological early warning and coordination, social dimensions of early warning, early warning messages, development of effective community early warning processes, early warning exercises, coordination with meteorological warnings in disaster management.
AKY 517 Medical Terminology
It is aimed to acquire Medical Terminology in the framework of concepts such as Disaster, Emergency, Emergency Management, Integrated Disaster Management, Risk Management, Disaster Cycle, Intervention, Improvement, Preparation and Hazard.
AKY 519 Gender Sensitive Disaster Management

AKY 525 Environmental Hazards in Emergency Management

AKY599 Semester Project
Within the framework of the semester project course, students prepare a semester project in which they can determine the courses they have taken and the relevance of them, and they are approved by the advisory faculty member. The project is delivered to the consultants at the end of the term. Semester project courses will be held for all faculty members.

AKY 514 Earthquake Risk Management
The occurrence of earthquake hazard and depression, Structural tectonics and faults, physical phenomena, distribution, earthquake parameters, effects of earthquake risk in comprehensive disaster management system, structural risks and harm reduction, improvement codes, building codes, education and information for earthquake damage mitigation, insurance, strengthening and restructuring, land use.
