In other words, the aim of the programme is to train qualified personnel who can take the ‘expert’ and ‘manager’ positions within the Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management and all kinds of health institutions and fire brigade organisations and related directorates, who know and apply the basic methods applied in this field, who can also provide the training required by the subject to the existing staff working within the unit where they are assigned, and who have the ability to manage and manage the unit they will be assigned.
For this reason, it is aimed to create a predisposition to make decisions under psycho-social difficult conditions, to overcome the crisis by reasoning and producing solutions, and to create a predisposition to teamwork in candidates who want to continue the programme. In this context, graduates of the programme will have the qualifications to work in the relevant departments and provincial disaster and emergency directorates to be established in the provinces, fire brigade organisations affiliated to municipalities and all kinds of public institutions and organisations related to civil defence.
